Student of the effectiveness and intent of gun control laws
If the Montana governor invalidates the gun restrictions of the Biden
administration, would that begin a trend of states superseding federal
laws and regulations?
It would be no different than the left coast, and other, cities
declaring themselves sanctuary cities. When the feds need their help to
obey federal laws, they decline. When they need the help from the feds
and don’t get it, they whine.

Red states declaring themselves 2nd Amendment sanctuaries simply means
they won’t help the feds should they ignore the Constitution. They won’t
necessarily impede, which statement does not apply to the population who
may actively impede, just they will not make arrests for, nor supply
resources to, the feds.

Unlike sanctuary cities which have no constitutional grounds to fall
back on, 2nd Amendment states are falling back on the Constitution.
