I've always been disproportionately annoyed by "the proof is in the
pudding", but Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer, quoted in a
CNN article on "burglary tourists", takes the mangling a stage further:

“Where’s the proof in the pudding?”

A pudding with no proof? What's the world coming to?
