Just was reading about SSI, at https://www.ssa.gov/ssi/.

Seems like if you can claim disability and or old age you can apply for supplements to your monthly income, which could be quite a bit.

I've been avoiding government payments generally, but seeing how so many claiming sanctuary and hardships get freebies, and so many of us are getting Food Stamps, etc., I may join the circus, too.

And here's about applying for SS disability benefits. https://www.ssa.gov/benefits/disability/
