Follow the action:

Your deal, your crib

Six cards to you and your opponent

Pick two out for the crib

Opponent lifts the deck and dealer picks the top card that scores in
both hands.

If it is a Jack of any suit, dealer scores "one for his knob" (there
are other descriptions)

Players play their hands.

Opponent scores first then dealer scores his hand and the crib.

QUESTION:

If opponent or dealer has the same suit (any card) as the Jack(Nobs)in
his hand or the crib does he score an extra point or even two?

Wrong. Scores two (for his heels).

Wrong again. Holding the Jack of the turned up suit scores one (for his
knob) (Stop sniggering at the back!).

It's a question, not a statement, so it's not "wrong". The answer to
the question is "No".

The question is wrong. His knob is holding a Jack of the turned up
suite, not holding a card of the same suit as the turned up Jack.

No question is wrong. The question was if you are holding a card with
the same suit as knobs, do you score a point.

Nothing wrong with the question. The answer is "NO", for which I
thank you.

I don't see how a question can be wrong. The purpose of a question is
to determine what is right and what is wrong.

You might say "That's the wrong question" when someone asks a question
and the answer does not provide what the questioner needs to know.
However, a question can't take a wrong position.

I do play cribbage - in person and online - and understand when the
Jack counts.

Probably of no interest to you, but my dad taught me the game when I
was 14 years old. I am 77 now. He taught me to play to 21 rather
than 31, and he may have learned that to make the game go faster when
he was waiting for a rescue craft on the shores of Dunkirk.

8-7-6: 21 for five.

I have never played any other way. I don't like the 31 official game.
