Hi
SAP is an accounting software, it has a field called Location or Plant Number. Delivery address for the users is set based on the Plant number. I am creating a power point slide to explain how to change that number. but before that I want to explain what is plant number. So which of the following is correct Slide Title for my presentation?

- What is a plant number?

- What is plant number?

You can only use the first one. The SAP help says:

"An organizational unit serving to subdivide an enterprise according to production, procurement,
maintenance, and materials planning aspects. It is a place where either materials are produced
or goods and services provided."

In British accountancy "plant" is heavy machinery, but we would also recognise "the Ford Plant in
Dagenham" as good English.
