Yep, didn't take 'em 24 hours either. Now it's all
the COPS fault. They didn't storm in instantly into
a curtain of hot lead ... ergo it's THEIR FAULT all
those kids were killed.

Hey, you can train and train - but when the REAL THING
happens it's almost like starting from scratch. Cops
are not expendable cannon-fodder rental units. Their
lives and safety count too.

Texans get the police they want. The courts have said state
legislatures can enact a duty to act. Courts can't because
separation of powers, but cities and states can. It appears
states can make failure to act a crime (Scot Peterson).

But that opens the cities and state to liability law suits and
expensive settlements when the police fail to act.

Courts can't criminalise illegal searches, just throw out
evidence. States can criminalise illegal searches instead of
whining about soft on crime judges.
