I have never been in this situation before and I have no idea what to do.

She knows I am an atheist who hates Christmas but I still feel I gotta do something. And she just suggested spending Christmas morning together.

Somebody please help me!

If both of you really agree that "special day" gifts are silly, then do
as she says. We do it that way, and a useful, really needed "gift" at
any time is much more appreciated.
