Dream strarts off when I find myself with a man. He is standing on the right side of me holding cards guessing 7 or 8 inches long and 3 inches wide. The cards are stiff like playing cards. The guy says a 4 digit number and then finds that number in the cards and pull it out, then he says to me "don't do like you did last time". He hands me the cards which looks like about 75 in the stack then call a number and I start shuffling through the cards looking for the number. I don't see any numbers on these cards, so know it is going to be like last time. I wake up at that moment.

I actually find that to be a "good" symbol, if a guy is to the right of a person, preferably facing the same direction, as that puts him in the groom's place, or even "at the right hand of God" in the religious sense. Left positions tend to bother me a bit, as the further left one goes, the closer to insanity their perspective appears.

Those are *tall* cards. I'm thinking closer in size to 1950s/60s/70s computer punch cards than playing cards. (wikipedia.org/wiki/EBCDIC)

So this actually strikes me as something akin to an historical "flash back," even as far back as WWII, when punched cards were actually a part of the "War effort" to defeat Hitler, to the tune of around 2 million punched cards a week {At Bletchley Park in England, "some 2 million punched cards a week were being produced, indicating the sheer scale of this part of the operation" (wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card)}.

Please note that (in my opinion) things that are *exceptionally* fluid in dreams do "not" appear, are "transparent" as air. So while a deck of cards may be less fluid and appear solid, the data on those cards would be unseen..

I do get a feeling of futility from that last sentence, "I don't see any numbers on these cards, so know it is going to be like last time."
