it only took him almost a year to finally weigh in against the lies, BS,
misinformation and stupidity of his own party. But he did it. He shut down
right wing nut Candace Owens on a podcast when she started disparaging
the vaccines.

“I came up with a vaccine, with three vaccines,” Trump told Owens. “All are very, very good. Came up with three of them in less than nine months. It was supposed to take five to 12 years.

“Yet more people have died under COVID this year,” Owens told Trump. “By the way, under Joe Biden, than under you and more people took the vaccine this year. So people are questioning how—”

“Oh no, the vaccines work, but some people aren’t the ones. The ones who get very sick and go to the hospital are the ones that don’t take the vaccine. But it’s still their choice. And if you take the vaccine, you’re protected,” Trump told Owens.

“Look, the results of the vaccine are very good, and if you do get it, it’s a very minor form,” Trump continued. “People aren’t dying when they take the vaccine.”

Of course he took credit for personally developing the vaccines when we
know that the Pfizer CEO told his team in January 2020 to go develop a
vaccine, that all the resources of Pfizer and it's capital were available,
whatever it takes. Other drug companies here and around the world
were doing similar and that's during a time when Trump was in total Covid
denial mode and the first case had not been diagnosed here yet.

The big question here is what is Trump up to? Has he figured out the
crazy Republicans are killing themselves off and he wants to run again
and needs them? Is he trying to change reality again, he wants to take
credit for the vaccines because he's going to run? Or has he decided not
to run, so now he doesn't care about losing his base, but wants to try to take credit for the vaccines as part of his legacy? Something is up,
because we had to see 400K more people dead before this supposedly great
man, this strong leader, the guy with the big mouth that won't shut up,
finally spoke out strongly on the side of the truth.

And now that fool Candace Owens is claiming that Trump has it wrong,
that he's from an old generation, one that trusts the mainstream media,
that Trump doesn't use the internet, so he can't find the "obscure sources"
out there with the right information. That's pretty funny, accusing Trump,
of all people, of listening to the mainstream media, when he called them
the enemy of the people. And the obvious problem with her, like sadly so
many today, is that they somehow think that these "obscure sources" are
credible, why dismissing all the world health authorities, scientists,
overwhelming statistics, etc.

We may be seeing the debut of the kinder gentler Trump.
I would really like to see them put all the dice in the cup and come
out with totally new candidates tho. I still can't vote for Trump or
Biden-Harris.
