1) Sure, I could see there was more to be made in shifting the white
or the brown powder, as you so chose, but, you see, my jam, it
doesn't kill anyone, and I like that.

2) Sure, I could see there was more to be made in shifting the white
or the brown powder, as you chose, but, you see, my jam, it doesn't kill
anyone, and I like that.

3) Sure, I could see there was more to be made in shifting the white
or the brown powder, as you chose to do, but, you see, my jam, it
doesn't kill anyone, and I like that.

Which of the above are grammatical and meaningful?

The idea is:
I could make more money pushing the white or brown powder
which was what you chose to do, but, my product doesn't kill
anyone and I like that.

The lines are spoken by a character who sells marijuana but
not heroin or the brown powder (I have no idea what that is).

Sentence '1' is from the movie 'The Gentlemen', written and directed
by Guy Ritchie.

I was wondering if the phrase 'as you so chose' had been used correctly
in that sentence. I also wanted to see if the other two versions worked.

You can find the original sentences here:

Gratefully,

This pattern is used more often with "if" instead of "as":
"if you so desire/enjoy/choose/wish/request/decide".

Glad you're asking about a real sentence.

"As you so chose" is redundant. Your versions are fine.

"as you so chose" is fine.

"if you so chose" in the context of that sentence doesn't work.
