Sounds like Carter's wage/price freeze - which was
a disaster.

It's too big a system for anybody to get away with
tweaking one little switch and expect good results.
Price increases have started WAY back in the economic
hinterlands - often not even within the USA. Raw
materials and all up the long chain, everybody is
paying more and passing those costs along. The lefties
always portray this as "greed", but mostly it's not,
it's survival, staying just far enough ahead of the
curve to remain in biz tomorrow.

Biden's best single-tweak hope - ENERGY prices. Open
those pipelines and well-fields, drill baby drill.
"Energy" has a major effect on EVERYTHING at every
stage. Make it cheaper and everything else gets cheaper.

But then Greta might pout .......
