1) If you harass Jane, her cousins will beat you up.
Does that necessarily mean all her cousins will beat you up?
I don't think so. I think It could be two cousins out of a great number.

2) John harassed Jane, and her cousins beat him up.
Does that necessarily mean that all her cousins beat him up?
I don't think so. I think It could have been two cousins out of a great number.
