And he's doing it after shutting down XL and being in the process right now
of shutting down another pipeline from Canada. Lib Democrats have said
many times that they want higher energy prices to drive people away from oil.
For five years I've watched the Republicans commit suicide, now it's the
Democrats.

There are really two economies in the world
1. The actual trade in goods and services
2. The people who bet on that market.

#2 is much bigger than #1. You only had to look at the real estate

zero effect on current crude supplies. OPEC reducing
production has a far greater effect.

can possibly have affected current petroleum prices. Executive
order or signed a bill presented by congress are the tools

of pandemic induced inflation is simply coincidence.

Oil is a global product. Push down here, it goes up over there. There
are lots of factors but Biden suppressing supply here will be felt
around the globe. Obviously there are still a lot of factors at work

Oil price is always based on the future, not right now. That is why
your gas station raises the price on gasoline based on what he will
pay next time in spite of the fact that what he has in his tanks was
bought at the lower price. Shutting down pipelines, cutting off oil
leases affects speculation and future prices. They price oil based on
what it is going to cost, not what they paid in the past to fill their
tanks.

Gas and oil prices we pay are based on the future price of oil, not
what it cost for the oil in the ground at your local WaWa or at the
bulk plant..

The writer at Reason Magazine says we've actually been improving our roads
in the U.S. Fewer are in poor condition than in the past.
Road crews in Nebraska are slowly rebuilding old Highways 6 and 34. Those were
the main roads running east and west through Nebraska. The news reports often had
accident reports talking about tourists getting killed. Someone would cause a head on
collision by being impatient.

Florida actually does pretty well with our roads. I know we don't have
the frost heaving problems but the also do a lot of maintenance here.
The last time I saw a crumbling bridge story ours looked pretty good
compared to other places. Obviously the ones being regularly splashed
with sea water have a tough time.
CNBC rated Florida #5 for best infrastructure and our bridges ranked
better than the top 4.

Climate is a factor but so is the fact that much of the roads are
relatively new and there was a lot of space. Left turn lanes, right
turn lanes are abundant compared to the older big cities where streets
were laid out before the invention of the automobile. Back roads are a
straight line, not so much following the cow path from 1680 towns.
