I know we're lucky these newsgroups exist. Well, I don't know about lucky for sure, but we're on borrowed time, that's for sure. It does annoy me though that the people who run this shit cannot be contacted. It goes beyond them. This society is all about social distancing, mostly when it comes to taking responsibility for things. Like the new google groups format. It won't work on my smartphone. I can't post, can't even see the arrow you click on to make the post. It is too large and busy for the small screen. Can you post from your smartphone? I used to be able to before the change became official. The fact they have stuck with the change proves there are not enough people bitching about it. I don't get the social media sites everyone uses. Even Trump - a part of me wants to side with him because it's wrong to censor the guy. At the same time he has money - what the fuck does he need with Facebook? Couldn't he have a blog? Something of his own where he can rant away every day. Would people flock to his blog? Probably not. Otherwise why the preoccupation with Facebook and twitter, etc? They call it the world wide web. But in many ways it seems the world shrinks the more people use it. Everything that happens within their own little sphere, they think everyone is doing the same thing. I do know some mistakes are our own doing, like moving too fast, clicking on shit and moving on to something else before realizing we didn't do it right. Slow down man. Take it easy. Watch that blood pressure. I want you alive. You're all I've got. Please - don't die on me.
