1) We decided to move the meeting up a few days.
2) We decided to move the meeting down a few days.

It seems to me that '1' is grammatical and meaningful. But how about '2'? Is it the opposite of '1'? Is it meaningful?

I don't think I've heard it. I'd use 'move the meeting back'. But then one could use 'move the meeting forward' instead of 'move the meeting up'...

Gratefully,
Navi

I would use neither.

I would write or say

We decided to hold the meeting a few days earlier.

or

We decided to hold the meeting a few days later.
