Bhutan is showing signs of freeing itself from India in its foreign policy. It prefers to deal with China directly, without relying on India’s “advice”.

The Indians cannot accept this. They perceive this as a threat to their Himalayan regional security. They are not going to take this lying down. They are making some military moves. China should be prepared for what the Indians may do. Don’t let Bhutan end up as Sikkim which was annexed by India by force.
