I noticed the following built-in help for the entry of "ref/Function" in Wolfram Mathematica:

```
Function[params,body,attrs]
is a pure function that is treated as having attributes attrs for purposes of evaluation.
```
I want to know if the usage "is treated as having" above is a good style.

Regards,
HZ

If so, the word "as" used here is a preposition.

I'm not sure. The "as" that means "in the same way" is a conjnction
when followed by a verbal phrase ("Do as I say"), and "having" in that
example is a participle - a verbal adjective - not a verbal noun. . The
phrase essentially replaces "as if it had".

That being said, you're probably all right treating it like a
preposition in practice.
