"The scope of the transaction comprises all the service activities
focused on metal surface finishing for the medical market and includes
the ISO-13485 certified facility in Warsaw, according to a news
release from Danco Medical."

That isn't the clearest sentence in the world, but it isn't often that
one sees "comprise" used to mean "comprise".

"the scope comprises [X] and includes [Y]" came as a bit of a shock. Why
two different verbs in tandem? Elegant variation? I'd have had
"comprises [X] including [Y}" if [Y] is a member of the class [X], or
"comprises [X] and [Y] if it isn't.

Let us not be too harsh on the author, who certainly started well.
