The finalised numbers confirm preliminary ones released by the CDC in August, in which the health agency predicted the worst two-year decline of life expectancy on record in the US since 1923."

Do you have any statistics to support the claim that falling life expectancy
is caused by population increase?

If not, shouldn't you also consider some other reasons to explain the drop in
life expectancy of Americans?

Drug overdoses, overweight, obese, heart diseases, junk foods, murders, gunshots, sex diseases, diabetes, and mental diseases. In total, US has left only 25% of fittest people in the country.
