I would guess if one contracted kuru, then their entire employment would consist of sick leave.

I have known a few people that would be safer for the organization to keep
them
on sick leave and not at work.

I saw this cartoon : The situation is one of these big open office areas, a fellow with a 44 magnum is going from desk to desk shooting people in the head. Off to the side one manager says to the other "Did we have to hire this efficiency expert?"
