If KKKlaus SSchadenfreude is going to be permitted by Giganews to post
articles with References: headers altered to start with an extremely long
(and crass and homophobic) Message-ID, then I must insist that E-S cease
and desist from rejecting followups to such articles.

If the E-S admin does not wish to implement such a change, then he must
get the Giganews admin to also reject articles with such a References:
header (and thus, all of the articles Klaus doctors to try to suppress
followups to illegitimately get the last word).

I would suggest that both news servers follow the existing RFCs on net
news article format (which, if I'm not too terribly mistaken, permits
such References: headers, meaning that E-S is being too strict).

And to forestall the most obvious kook objection, which is that this
would also mean allowing as many crosspost groups as the most liberal
news servers, I will point out that the situation is not symmetrical
since it is easy for users to edit the Newsgroups: line before sending
a followup but generally impossible for users to edit the References:
line. (Aside from, apparently, some small subset including Klaus who
have some sort of hacking/abuse tool, probably the notorious NewsMaestro.)

different servers to different standards in that regard and thus giving
pay servers' users an unfair advantage in online arguments whereby they
may guarantee against rebuttals being posted from free servers simply

rejected by same.
